MACBETH Singer To Perform With REZOPHONIC Charity Project

While the Italian gothic metal band MACBETH is working on new material, the group's female vocalist Morena will perform on stage with REZOPHONIC, the musical project led by Mario Riso. A charity project whose aim is to help bring clean water (by building wells) to some areas of Africa where people are still dying of illnesses caused by the drinking dirty water, REZOPHONIC features contributions from many Italian artists, including members of such acts as MOVIDA, BLUVERTIGO, LINEA 77, DEASONIKA, LE VIBRAZIONI, EXTREMA, LACUNA COIL, ARTICOLO 31, NEGRAMARO, VERDENA, and NEGRITA.

MACBETH's as-yet-untitled fourth album is scheduled for release in late spring 2007. The band's latest CD, "Malae Artes", was released in March 2005 via Dragonheart Records. The follow-up to 2000's "Vanitas" features 10 tracks "in the vein of LACUNA COIL, NIGHTWISH and TRISTANIA," according to a press release.
